POWER RANKINGS: Week 13

The Stoners cooled off the Gunners in week 13 proving the club is fit to be in first place in the BSL. While Rose City improved with its 9th win of the season, the Flyers are not scoring like the other top seeds and dropped to 3rd in the power rankings. The Spartans continue to be one of the hardest teams to beat in the BSL, but 6 ties in 13 games drops the club to 4th in the power rankings. Alamo City moves up to #2 with a third straight win. The biggest jump of the week is Second City, who poured it on in week 13.

WEEK 13: Leaders Don't Stumble After Long Break

SPARTANS 3 GATEWAY UNITED 3 - With the Spartans only trailing Gateway United by the slimmiest of margins in the BSL standings for 4th place, this important match up was worth the spotlight. The Saints opened the scoring with a Chiumiento assist, before New York equalized with a Meyers assist. Zusi gave the Spartans a short 2-1 lead before Nielsen's clean sheet tied it up again at 2-2. On Sunday the Spartans took the lead again when Grazzini scored, but Beckham came through late to tie up the score for a third time. The result is a record tieing 6th draw for the Spartans.
