Orange County vs Burud Town

Orange County (BSL -2nd place / MCQ -7th place) has lost 2 in a row which is the clubs first losing streak in the BSL. It won't get any easier going up against the Stags this week. Burud Town (BSL -3rd place / MCQ -3rd place) leads the league with 5 ties. The Stags could take over 2nd place in the BSL standings with a win.

Alamo City vs Spartans 1612

Alamo City (BSL -1st place / MCQ-1st place) needed Will Johnson's late heroics for another come-from-behind result, and now has a 5 point lead for the Honors Trophy. Spartans (BSL -4th place / MCQ -6th place) is in tight races in both tables. The club holds a 3 point lead in the BSL standings, and is only APG points out of the top 4 in the MCQ.

Gold Coast vs Pennsylvania

Gold Coast (BSL -10th place / MCQ -10th place) is coming off upsetting the Spartans and will look to continue that momentum this week. As is the case with just about all the BSL clubs, 3 points this week could go a long way in the MCQ table. Pennsylvania (BSL -12th place / MCQ -12th place) will look for something positive out of this season. Its been a tough ride so far in 2013.

Union SoCal vs Rose City

Union SC (BSL -9th place / MCQ -9th place) enters the week trailing by 3 points for the 4th place position in the MCQ even though the club is actually sitting pretty low in the table. A positive result against the Flyers could go a long way in determining if this club has any post season life in it. Rose City (BSL -5th place / MCQ -5th place) is 5-1-2 in the clubs last 8 matches and is breathing down the leaders throats for post season position.

Alamo City vs Burud Town

Alamo City (BSL -1st place / MCQ -1st place) enters this match with a 4 point lead in the Honors Trophy race. It might still be a little early to start talking about most wins in a season or most points in a season, but those records are definitely within reach.
Burud Town (BSL -3rd place / MCQ -4th place) enters with a 4 game unbeaten streak. The Stags look like a playoff team with an 8 point lead over 5th place, so this match against the Battle should be a good test for the club as to how the post season could play out.

Rose City vs Alliance

Rose City (BSL -5th place / MCQ -7th place) is in the thick of both tables. The Flyers need wins to keep the pressure on the leaders. Alliance (BSL -11th place / MCQ -8th place) had the clubs best result of 2013 in week 14.

Spartans 1612 vs Gold Coast

Spartans (BSL -4th place / MCQ -3rd place) holds a 6 point edge over the 5th place flyers for a playoff spot and also is in the top 4 in the MCQ. A win this week will beat last years win total of 8. Gold Coast (BSL -10th place / MCQ -12th place) has lost 5 in a row entering this match.

Gateway United vs Second City

Gateway United (BSL -7th place / MCQ -2nd place) are on a 3 game unbeaten streak and has the #1 APG in the MCQ after 3 weeks. Second City (BSL -6th place / MCQ -9th place) struggled entering into the break, but still has life with the club only trailing by 7 points in the BSL playoff race.

Union So.Cal vs Pennsylvania

Union SC (BSL -9th place / MCQ -10th place) need points quickly for any chance for action after the regular season. Pennsylvania (BSL -12th place / MCQ -11th place) could have won before the break, but lost due to a line-up failure.

Orange County vs Capital District.

Orange County (BSL -2nd place / MCQ -5th place) seem like a solid bet to make the BSL playoffs barring any major slumps. However, the Zodiac will have to put forth a solid run for Majors Cup.
Capital District (BSL -8th place / MCQ -6th place) enter week 15 on a 2 game winning streak. The club is in the thick of the MCQ and has made a few roster moves to help in the stretch run.

Alliance 6 Orange County 1

Coming into the match as underdogs on a 7 game losing streak, the Lions were struggling to score and needed a spark. The club was quoted as wanting to play spoiler. On the stat sheet the Zodiac had a total of 50 scores compared to the Lions 22 in 13 weeks of action. Alliance got things started thanks to 2 great Blas Perez goals. Then, Neagle added in a 3rd score and the Lions had built a 3-0 lead.  The Zodiac would have to once again come from behind. Sarkodie began the comeback with an assist to close out Saturday with several OC players available for Sunday. Villarreal, Pontius, Rogers, Zardes, none of them could score for the Zodiac on Sunday, meanwhile the Lions were not done. Kelyn Rowe exploded for a hat trick giving Alliance the best offense of the week!

Alamo City 3 Rose City 1

The Battle and Flyers were held scoreless all Saturday in a surprising scoreless match until Obafemi Martins opened the scoring with a goal. Then the match took a huge turn when Martins was red carded taking away his goal and Rose City's last available player, Aurellien Collin, delivered with a SOG. Within a matter of minutes the score had flip flopped giving Rose City the 1-0 lead going into Sunday and the rolls were reversed as well as Alamo City would have only 1 available player left. Would the red card be the storyline? Would Collins, the last Flyer standing, be the hero for the Flyers? On Sunday, like Collins, the first place Battle, got the equalizer from Diego Fagundez. Then in the closing minutes of the game, Fagundez delivered the game winner. Alamo City becomes the 2nd club in BSL history obtain 50 regular season wins.
