The League has announced that club rosters will expand by one extra player for the 2016 season with the addition of a 2nd reserve player. The BSL played with 2 reserve players in previous seasons, but when the BSL increased to 12 clubs it was decided to drop it down to one due to player dilution. Now, with more players available in the draft pool over the last few years, it has been decided the time is right to return back to 2 reserve slots.
