With the top pick in the BSL draft, Burud Town selected the Italian playmaker Sebastian Giovinco. The 5 foot 4 international is only 28 years old and is expected to be paid 7 million a year. He has lofty expectations ahead of him and is saying all the right things so far in press conferences. Sebastian says he is currently fit and ready to go having only missed 1 week of training in the transition from Juventus. After winning the BSL Cup in 2013, Burud Town won only 6 matches last season finishing in 10th place in the league standings. It was the worst finish in the club's history. Giovinco will be joining Pedro Morales, Javier Morales, and Marcelo Sarvas who were protected on the Stags roster.
