ReplyDeleteAlamo,
After your next counter, you alright with suspending bidding until tomorrow?
135 - yes, I'm good with suspending
ReplyDeleteTechnically. According to the rulebook. If counter bids are made after 6pm the bidding carries over to the next day.
ReplyDeleteGood luck.
$6 for Pirlo and $135+ for Dos Santos? What am I missing?
ReplyDeleteI think it comes down to 2 things. The first is fantasy vs reality. Pirlo probably could've gone for more, but Dos Santos has the potential to have a bigger impact on our fantasy league and for a longer time than Pirlo will. The second is who is still bidding, Alamo vs me. We’re probably the longest rivalry going in this league.
DeleteThat clarifies greatly, thanks!
DeleteDos Santos has potential to be a DP for multiple seasons. Pirlo (yes i bought him) is more for just a short term thing. I thought I was heading into this years playoffs (not so sure now) and wanted instant benefits. I was prepared to spend $20 on him. Not more.
