Alamo City played big this weekend and needed almost every single score to defeated Angel Town and advance the club 6th Majors Cup in club history. Brian Fernandez's goal on Sunday broke a 9-9 tie. The Battle would finish in 2nd place in the West thanks to owning a better PPG in the qualifiers and will play the New York Red Bulls in the tournaments quarter-finals. Angel Town still won the West and will play Toronto FC in the quarter-finals.
