Alamo City broke a 2-2 tie, when Zlatan announced he wanted to show his greatness in big matches, and scored a hat-trick for the Battle. Then the flood gates opened up and Alamo City steam rolled the 3-time defending BSL Champions in what ended up being the most lopsided playoff result in BSL history. The Saints reign is over and a new BSL champion will be crowned in 2019. However, Gateway United still has some work to do in the upcoming Majors Cup. As for Alamo City, the club is heading to it's 2nd BSL Final in its history where it has a 1-0 record. It's a rematch of the 2009 BSL Cup final against Capital District.
