A week after losing to Alamo City 11-9 in a slugfest, Angel Town found itself in another high scoring fight against another playoff team. This week it was against the 1st place Gunners who were trying to seal the Honors Trophy with a win. Angel Town struck early and often including a hat-trick from Diego Rossi. But, the Gunners showed why the club is in first place, with scores of their own including a hat-trick from Elis. A total of 16 players from both sides would end up scoring in this match. Capital District also had 5 yellows and a red card in this match, which allowed the Stars to have all 3 subs enter the match including Cristian Ramirez who had a goal and a assist. Angel Town had 3 yellows and a red card themselves allowing Atuesta to score off the bench for the Gunners. The win seals Angel Town to a 3rd place finish and next week will determine who the Stars will playing in the Semi-Finals. Meanwhile Capital District, will have to put the anguish of losing after scoring 11 points aside fast, as next week another chance to win the Honors Trophy.
