The Saints won the Eastern Conference with a 5-2-1 record in 2020, making the playoffs for a league best 9th time. But, it was a year without any new hardware for the club. Returning players are Lodeiro, Fagundez, Lod, and Ola Kamara. In the offseason Gateway traded for Gonzalo Higuain and added Dieber Caicedo in the draft.
