While Angel Town coasted to an easy win over Nashville, the match between Emerald Coast and Phoenix Sky was epic. The lead changed 5 times, and neither club had a lead of bigger than 2 points the entire time. Trailing 7-6 with one player left, the Blue Fins Thiago Almada equalized with a goal in the 15th minute. If the match would have gone into overtime, Phoenix would still be okay having 3 players off the bench scoring points. But, then in the 63rd minute Almada sealed the deal sending Emerald Coast to the clubs first championship final.
