DRAFT: Final rounds make way for opening kick

After a week of signing players, all the BIGTIME teams are now complete.
The question as to which team will have the "winning eleven" will be determined at the conclusion of an exciting 20 game season. It will be hard to predict just how the upcoming games will turn out. For example injuries may come and force teams to make unwanted maneuvers. Also possible is an unknown player could burst into the scene and take the league by storm. In the end someone will have the bragging rights for being the leagues first champion and possibly the league first winner of the "BIGTIME Double", winning both the Honors Trophy and the BSL Cup.

  4. Good luck all. Now, lets see how much of a mess I'm in.

As for FAs, I figured it'd be first come, first served. Since our comments are date-time stamped, who ever makes a claim first, gets the player. But, that's assuming we're not doing any kind of waiver system.

  5. So far everything has been real classy. I am so impressed and think it will only get better with time once we get a reputation for each other. I am very competitive in nature so its hard for me to say good luck because I really want to win. That said if any of you beat me..... then I tip my hat to you with a smile.

  6. Yeah, I figure there'd be some kind of waiver system. Just curious as to how many we can sign and what the rules will be with them.

    Great job commish

  7. Well there is NO LIMIT on how many Free Agents you can sign. But, your roster can't exceed 11 men. This mens to pick up and FA, you'll have to drop someone from your lineup.

As far as waivers.... to be fair we need to make sure everyone has a chance to see who's been dropped. So, the rule will be:

"Any released player from a BIGTIME line-up cannot be picked up until 24hours after his release has been made public." If multiple BIGTIME teams want this released player... then the team offering "the better statistical player" has priority since they are offering more value.

This waiver is ONLY for players released from a BIGTIME roster. You are entitled to any Free Agent not coming off one of our rosters right away since everyone has had plenty of time to choose the players never drafted.

  8. Chances are whoever one of us is releasing off our team rosters isn't going to be worth stealing from. I mean it would most likely be someone who isn't performing or is really injured or has left the MLS. But just in case it is a player we all want it is good to have an official rule :) Most likely its going to be an undrafted player that has a good start to the season that we're all going to want to add. And like you said...its first come first serve baby.
