DRAFT: Round two has more high profile players acquired

The second round of the BIGTIME draft concluded with some very high priced and high profile players acquired. It's to some surprise that some of these guys were not signed in the first round at all.

The first player taken in the second round was Taylor Twellman. If he can stay healthy he should be in store for another fine year.
The MLS' second highest paid player in Cuahutemoc Blanco was selected by the Gunners as the 10th pick.
While the first round was filled with plenty of USMNT players, this next round saw more foreign born talent picked up.
There are still nine rounds to go before any BIGTIME team will have a complete squad, but with every pick, the identity of each team is slowly becoming more apparent.
The third round of the draft is about to begin and not a moment too soon. Opening kick starts in less than 10 days. With only 20 games to determine the Honors Trophy, every game will surely have meaning.
So, who will be signed next. Also, how long before we see our first Goal Keeper selected? The answers are coming.......

  2. UPDATE:

I am no longer going to be waiting hours upon hours for picks to be made. After a few hours goes by (unless its "after hours" where you live) you will be skipped. You can make up your pick at any time as long as its not a player someone has made while you were skipped. If we get to you in the next round and you still haven't made a selection, then the LEAGUE will pick a player for you... THE PLAYER CHOSEN WILL BE BY ALPHABETIC ORDER OF LAST NAME OF AN OFFENSIVE POSITION.

You will be able to release this player for a free agent of your choice after the draft.

This is not meant to be rude. But, we need to speed things up to make the deadline.

  3. Good for U!!!!!!!!! I know some people may have legit excuses, but its doesn't take that long to check your email. If you are going to be gone for a while you could send a list of players you would want when its your turn too.

  4. Ok. Can definantly understand the shortened clock. As someone who can't always check their email during the day, I'll make up a list of players.

  6. Gunners,

Here is the funny part, you still have been able to respond in a timely fashion. Others have taken much much longer.

Like I said, this is only meant to make the deadline of opening day. Teams will still be able to make selections before their next turn or even pick up free agents any time.

I want this to be fun and fair.
