GAME 15: Several ties keep teams bunched in the standings

BOXSCORES
For the second game in a row the Gunners had to face one of the teams still chasing for the Honors Trophy and once again the game ended in a tie. Gateway United refused to lose after trailing three seperate times before this 3-3 ended. While the tie means the Saints have a 6 game unbeaten streak and are now in second place, the tie also once again works to the advantage of the Gunners allowing the team to maintain its standings lead.
The biggest upset of the weekend comes from the 2-1 victory for Motor City defeating Montgomery County. The Monarchs are officially struggling having failed to win a game in the second half of the season and aquiring only 3 points for Majors Cup qualifying.
Another team stuggling is Union S.C. after being shut out 1-0 by Garden State. While part of the blame can be put on the Gold Cup, the Blues other players have not been producing. The Kickers have taken over the fourth spot in Major Cup qualifying by the slimmest of tiebreakers.
Once again Gaithersburg City made life difficult for D.C. Forever as the teams finish off with their own 3-3 tie. Gaithersburg has had more success against D.C. than any other opponent.

  2. Wow, the break destroyed me. Two weeks of scoring bucket loads just to come back to this poop. Ugh, so frustrating.
