We are now in the final quarter of the schedule.
There are some very compelling match-ups this week as first we have Gateway United verses Union S.C. Both teams would really be affected by a loss in this game as they would be at the mercy of catch-up with very little time left. The same can be said for the match between Montgomery County and D.C. Forever since the loser that that match will no doubt be in the back of the line in the playoff race.
The only team with any sort of breathing room is Capital District. A victory for the Gunners against Motor City might shut the door on any team stealing away first place. It won't be easy as Motor City is playing for a realistic spot in the Majors Cup. Garden State will try to win 2 in a row as it goes up against Gaithersburg City. The Kickers could still have a shot at the playoffs with a win, but a defeat would fade any hopes.
Both races for the BSL playoffs and Majors Cup are tight, so there is plenty for teams to play for.
