Landon Donovan will return to the Gateway United line-up in 2010. The Saints fears were calmed by the recent contract extension that will see him remain in the MLS until 2013.Even with the pending news of a loan to Everton F.C., Donovan is expected to return to the United States in time for opening day.
With the MLS expected to break during the World Cup group stage games, no BSL games are expected to be scheduled as well. Gateway United will not have to worry about missing their superstar while he competes in South Africa.
The question still remains on whether or not the Saints will try and obtain a second Designated Player.

ReplyDeleteHey Commish, do we have a draft order ? As in, the team order ? Is it literally going to be reverse standings or how are you going to do it ?
I'm trying to figure out what to do with my DP slot and knowing the order would help.
Draft order is worst record picks first.... up to the best record from last year.
