MATCH PREVIEW #7: Some Wins Can Mean More Than Others

The "Game of the Week" features the top two clubs in the BSL in every category. St. Louis leads the league in APG, MOV, and the Standings. In second place in everything is Union S.C. These two clubs have a combined +27 margin of victory. This matchup should be explosive. St. Louis has just come off an 8 point outting and has consistently put up 5 or more points in a game. Union S.C. has been scoring just as impressively. These two have combined for 5 of the 6 BSL weekly top scorers tally.

Also this week we have the first Empire Cup meeting when the C.D. Gunners take on the New York Greeks. The Gunners are on a roll and could take over 2nd place with the two clubs ahead of them playing each other. The Greeks had a tough match last week after getting the clubs first win 2 weeks ago.

Gateway United will look to continue its unbeaten streak in a match up against Burud Town. The Saints have score 10 points in their last 2 games. Meanwhile the Stags just lost a shootout to St.Louis , but put up 5 points themselves. This should be a good game.
Montgomery County has a chance to hit the record books and not in a good way. A loss to Gold Coast F.C. and the Monarchs will hit 6 straight losses. The Suns have scored 4 points in their last 2 games each.

  2. Looks like the Greeks didn't report in their game day lineup. Seems like some things from 09' are happening again. Those on the bottom give up.

  4. I'm sure if first place was at stake then Thursday night start times would be easier to remember. Gold Coast you're still listed as the next match.

Eh, it was once/the first time. Hell I almost forgot about the Wednesday start last week.
