The Brazilian is coming to San Jose as an attacking Midfielder. The Saints found out about his signing almost 17 hours before anyone else, but had to wait giving other BSL clubs time to get the news.

  9. Geovanni should be mine. Instead BT is going to get him. I knew all the complaining about how the system wasn't fair was just going to handcuff me. Freaking parity that's what you'll have with all these handcuffs.

  10. Whether I got the player or not, I'd tell you parity is probably the preferred means of competition, especially in a fantasy league, where without it you have several more NY Greeks.

Also still struggling to understand how it was figured out 17 hours before everyone else, when San Jose fans didnt know until the Twitter announcement.

  11. 1. If you want my opinion. I actually feel bad for Gateway. But the rule is for the better from a league standpoint.

You guys have the luxury of letting your emotions get in the way for your teams. I don't and therefore always take a step back and look at what is the fairest and most productive thing for this league. I know read your email Gateway and all I can say is always take a step back and see the big picture.

    2. I advised Gateway not to give up his source. Any edge a club has should be there's to keep as long as they have such an edge. That goes back to why I feel bad for him. By the time 24 hours went by, even the MLSSOCCER.COM site had it posted. It kind of took the momentum out of the who announcement.

    JUST MY 2 CENTS.

  12. Then maybe the window should be shortened to 15 hours or something? Enough where if you're sleeping you still have time to see it.

  13. For the record, I'm not complaining one bit.

I was merely commenting on how it was amazing that he got a credible source MORE than 24hrs before I was able to find any real confirmation.

Kudos to him. I could have played off the speculation, but I didn't think it was concrete enough and I lost out on the chance. That's on me.

  14. Well even so, you didn't "lose out on the chance" because YOU DID get in on the bidding war.
