ST.LOUIS 3 GOLD COAST 0
Three matches and three wins for the Cure over the Suns. This match was a one-sided affair with all the scoring coming from St. Louis. Goals from Robbie Findley and Chad Barrett and an assist from Brek Shea. Its the 13th win of the season for the Cure. Thanks to the help of other results around the league and the fact that Gold Coast has a precious 7 wins to its belt, the club still controls 3rd place in the league standings. However, getting shut-out doesn't bold well to holding onto that spot for much longer.

BURUD TOWN 2 UNION SC 2
A very late assist from Nate Jaqua salvaged a point for Union SC in what appeared to be a sure loss to Burud Town. The Blues would open the scoring early with a goal from LeToux on Thursday before the rest of the clubs offense feel lame for the 2nd game in a row. Burud Town would get a goal from Kei Kamara and an assist from Ryan Smith to take the 2-1 lead. The Blues last hopes rested with its Sounder duo of Zakuani and Jaqua. When Zakuani was subbed out in the 71st minute, all hopes rested with Jaqua. It was looking bleak. The Stags were 5 minutes away from their first win over Union SC, when Jaqua pulled in an assist in the 85th minute.

MONTGOMERY 6 NEW YORK 1
With all of the recent signing by the Monarchs, its was the club opening day players that contributed to much of the scoreline in a victory over New York. GBS opened the scoring with an assist. The Greeks would equalize off a Alejandro Moreno assist. Then the Champ's took over and assaulted the Greeks. David Ferriera pulled in the next set of points with a goal and assist. Then Kasey Keller racked in an assist of his own to go with his clean sheet. With the game well in hand Alvaro Fernandez capped the night with a beautiful goal giving Montgomery a 6-1 win. The Monarchs are 3-1-2 since the 2nd half of the regualr season started, good for 11 points in both the season and Majors Cup qualifying. Its a big improvement over the 2-7-1 record in the first 10 games.
