Ching Traded During the Off Season to a New Club

GOLD COAST: obtains 1st round pick
ALLIANCE: obtains Brian Ching

It was no secret that Gold Coast FC was looking to completely revamp its roster. After exploring every option available, the Suns owner needed a new ownership group to complete the task of having 3 first round picks in 2011. The Lions have agreed to release its first pick in order to obtain the rights to Brian Ching. It is up for debate which club will benefit most from this deal. Ching had some injuries last year but is a player capable of putting up numbers and could be a real benefit to Alliance FC. The Suns have the draft picks the club wanted but still have no guarantees any players drafted will be successful.

  1. You both should end up happy with this trade.

  2. I am surprised by it. Looks like GC really wants to revamp even though that roster went 4-1 in the Majors Cup.

and yes I am bitter about my 6-5 loss. I could have had a DOUBLE.
