WEEK 1: Interesting Results Open the Season

CD GUNNERS 1 GOLD COAST 0 - The rematch of last years BSL Final was a scoring drought. Neither club could get anything going. Only Javier Morales' goal would count. SPARTANS 1 SECOND CITY 1 - Each club traded assists to finish the game off with a draw. The Stars were riding a yellow card, but kept Jewsbury from entering the match. BOXSCORE: Spartans - Zusi(A). Stars- Chiumiento(A), Beckerman(Y).

ALAMO CITY 5 ALLIANCE 2 - After a hyped preseason, the Battle started off the regular season with a league high 5 offensive points. Trailing 2-1 midway in the match thanks to a great game from the Lions Joe Cannon, the match began to change when Henry and Perez erupted for 3 points in a few short minutes. Boyd capped the scoring with a brilliant header. BOXSCORE: Battle- Hassli(A), Henry(A), Perez(2A), Boyd(G), Mirosevic(Y). Lions- Cannon(CS SP).

Flyers- Sapong(G -LF), Hamid(SP).

  1. Commish, I'm picking up Adam Moffat, assuming I'm right in my search and that he's not currently signed somewhere. I already mentioned it on our blog and just need league approval.

  3. I don't have 14 players yet. As far as I know I can pick up players until I reach that cap, correct?

    1. Oh. It says 12 at the top of the rules page, but I went immediately to the "free agents" section which still says 14. I assume it's a hold over from the reserves rule.
