Please vote on any of the 3 options for changes to Multi-Game rule:
Option 1- Position players weekly average is tallied the same with total points for the week averaged out, but the Goal Keeper scoring is changed. The change would be a if a Keeper gets a clean sheet or 5 saves in either game they will receive a point in the boxscore.
Option 2- If a position player plays two games in the same week, his better game that week counts. Example he scores 2 points on Wednesday, and 0 points on Saturday. The Wednesday result counts. Would not be his average anymore. Goal Keepers would also follow this rule. Example: If a keeper has a clean sheet on Wednesday, and does not on Saturday. His clean sheet on Wednesday would count.
Option 3- Make no changes to the Multi-game rules. Both position players and Keepers weekly average counts.
Majority of votes wins! So please vote because if only half the league votes an option might win with a select few making the choice. Let's set a deadline of Sunday after Week 19 Gameday concludes.
Spartans like Option 2.

ReplyDeleteofficial press release:
ReplyDeleteOption 3
I vote for Option 1. ---- #2 overpowers field players with multiple games, and #3 is detrimental to goalkeepers with multiple games.
ReplyDeleteOption 1
ReplyDeleteSpartans change vote to #1. Sparts.
ReplyDeleteI like #2
ReplyDeleteThe Partnership votes #2
ReplyDeleteAll options make sense in there own way. But the option i like best is option 2.
ReplyDeleteI'll do my vote after rose city or on saturday. Whichever comes first.
ReplyDeleteOption 1 would be my pick. Sorry I've been so non-responsive recently.
ReplyDeleteI like option 2. While true that it gives an advantage to position players who play 2 games in the same week, the truth is they already have that advantage since they are playing 180 minutes for the week.
ReplyDeleteCounting their best game of the week is fun.
Option 2 wins the voting.
Will change the RULES tab.
Is this effective now, or next season?
ReplyDeleteI would believe that this wouldn't go in to effect until next season.
