The BSL on Wednesday announced the 2013 week one match-ups for all 12 clubs. The 5th season will kick off on March 2 and conclude the gameday scoring on March 3. The first kick "Game of the Week" will feature the Rose City Flyers beginning their BSL Cup title defense against the 2012 Majors Cup Champion Alamo City. Also on tap in week 1 will be the league debut for the OC Zodiac, who will face Alliance FC as their first ever opponent. The Honors Trophy Champion, Gateway United, will face the Spartans in their opener. The remaining matchup's include Union SC vs Second City, CD Gunners vs Pennsylvania, and Gold Coast vs Burud Town. The complete 2013 BSL schedule will be announced at an upcoming date.
