It was a record setting week for Alamo City. The Battle broke 2 records and tied another. Let's start with the 10 points the club scored. It breaks the record of 9 points held by the Union SC(2010) and the Spartans(2012) for most points in a BSL match.
(Pennsylvania had 11 points in a Majors Cup game for best BSL club in the tourney, and FC Dallas had 12 points in a Majors Cup game if including MLS teams as well) the next record broke is the number of players to score in a match. Alamo City had 9 different players contribute to the scoreline. That's 9 of the 11 starters scoring. The Battle left a score on the bench as well if you can believe that. Lastly, the 13 total points ties the record for most combined points in a BSL game.
(The record in a Majors Cup game is 16). The win also helps keep Alamo City in first place at the exact midway point of the 2013 season.
