The Gunners picked up the clubs 3rd straight win defeating the Zodiac in a slugfest. The big story were the new additions Capital District picked up back on June 9th. Both, Russell Teibert and Frederick Piiquionne, connected for braces to lead the way. The Zodiac had a good game including a wonderful performance from the youngster Zardes, but could not keep up with the Gunners this time around.

I knew Piquionne had the skills to succeed in this league, I just didn't set my team up to have the space to let him develop and work his way into Portland's XI. My loss, the Gunners' gain.
