There's always a storyline when the Gunners and Battle meet up. This time in another classic for the "BSL Classic", Capital District almost came back from a huge early deficit, but fell 1 score short. Thierry Henry earned his paycheck scoring an early hat trick, helping Alamo City build a 4-1 lead. The score was 6-2, before Valerie and Busch made it interesting at 6-5. By the final whistle, Alamo City had claimed only its 2nd win all-time over the Gunners in 12 meetings and celebrated winning the clubs first BSL Classic and also clinched the Founders Cup title as well.
