The recent additions by Union SC have helped, but still were not enough in the first leg of the California Cup as Gold Coast FC took the match 7-5. Meanwhile, Capital District wasn't the offensive juggernaut its been so far this season and only managed to put up 3 scores in week 7, but that was easily enough to grab another win and stay perfect since the Mounties were shut out in response. Alamo City had the clubs best match of the season pouring on nine scores. The Saints and Stoners played to a draw. The Spartans moved up to 2nd place in the league standings with the clubs 5th win.
