Union and Gateway Earn Big Wins

Gateway United moved into 1st place in the East of the MCQ after edging out S.C. Canada in a tight 6-5 match. The upcoming Round 3 match against Capital District will be the decider of that group. In the West, Union S.C. outlasted Gold Coast FC 6-4 to move into 1st place for now, but will have to scoreboard watch the 3rd round to see how things shake up for the final standings with Alamo City and Gold Coast with with a match in hand.

Suns Take Care of Business in Week 6

Gold Coast FC put and end to Capital District's unbeaten run with a 6-5 victory. The Suns managed the win without any single player having a breakout performance, instead six players each put up a score. In other news, Johnny Russell continues to impress with another great match and had 3 goals for Alamo City to help his club defeat S.C. Canada 9-5. The win put Alamo City back into 3rd place in the standings. Gateway United hammered Union S.C. 9-4 including a beautiful hat trick performance from Ignacio Piatti. The Saints are now 2 points back for 1st place.

Gunners Prevail as the Last Unbeaten Club

Capital District ended week 5 as the last unbeaten club in the league after defeating Gateway United 9-5 and has built a 5 point lead for first place in the standings. S.C. Canada rolled with an impressive 8-5 win over Union S.C. to take over 3rd place. Alamo City and Gold Coast FC played to a 3-3 draw.

Melia Leads Union to First Win!

Tim Melia scored a rare goal keeper hat trick with a clean sheet and 10 saves to lead Union S.C. to an impressive 8-2 win over Gold Coast FC.  The result gave the Union the clubs first win in 2018 and up the standings. Meanwhile, Gateway United remained upbeaten in 4 matches with a 6-4 win over S.C. Canada. Capital District and Alamo City played to a 3-3 draw. The result keeps the Gunners unbeaten as well.

Alamo City Leads Pack After First Qualifier

Alamo City overcame an early 3-0 deficit to defeat Union S.C. 9-6 including 2 goals from Zlatan, and braces from Penilla and Blanco as well. Meanwhile, Capital District edged out S.C. Canada 4-2, including the first goal of the season from Diego Valeri.
