Great Finales Throughout the League

THE BIG STORY: It was a head to head fight worthy of the billing as being the match to win the Honors Trophy. Memo got thing started and gave Gold Coast an early lead, but Jordan Morris has to be the man of the match with his 4 point performance for the Cardinals to give the club a 4-1 lead. The advantage increased to 6-1, but the Suns roared back including a brace from Zardes to make it 6-5. Each club traded scores afterwards, and the Cardinals held on to win the Honors.
AROUND THE LEAGUE: The Spartans scored an all-time club best 12 points to clinch a spot in the Majors Cup. Ruidiaz had 4 scores, and Taider had a hat trick to lead the team. Century lost despite scoring 8 points on their side, however the club still claimed the 8th and final place in the Majors Cup. Alamo City and the Wolves also played a stellar head to head match this week, and finished with a 6-6 tie. Pacific Elite saved their best for the last match of the season, winning the clubs first BSL match in a 7-5 win over Gateway United. Dax McCarty had a hat trick. Royal Oak had a good finale also winning its match 7-5. Angel Town got win number 5 on the year.
