More Post Season Spots Clinched!

THE BIG STORY: Century seemed to enjoy the spotlight this week as the club topped the league in scoring with 6 points on route to a big 6-1 route over the Sky.
AROUND THE LEAGUE: Gateway United reclaimed first place in the East after a 5-4 win, and the Gunners losing for the first time this season, 4-3 to Angel Town. Alamo City won two in a row, and ended the Spartans hopes at the playoffs. The Wolves and Suns tied 4-4 including each club getting a late brace from their Galaxy players to close out the weekend. The results mean that the 4 playoff spots have been clinched. The match-up's for Gateway United, Cardinals, Capital District, and Gold Coast in the semi-finals will be determined in week 8, as well as who will win the Honors Trophy Championship as only 2 points seperate all 4 clubs. As for the Majors Cup, the Wolves and Angel Town each clinched a place in the tournament. That means all 4 West spots are set. Only the East is in question, as 3rd and 4th place in that conference are still up for grabs.
