There is still 2 weeks left for BSL clubs to confirm their return for 2021. So far the response has been an all-time high for RSVP's. In addition there are several new individuals preparing to join. Could it be that the pandemic has increased a desire for fantasy sports entertainment? Whatever the reason, the BSL can confirm that the league will be larger than twelve clubs for season 13.
With this announcement, the RULES page has been updated on the new 2021 regular season, playoffs, and Majors Cup structure. Make sure you take a look at the new updates.

Hello. I understand I get to pick after you have saved your designated players, and get my own designated players. Can I have more players before the draft? How many can we have? I was told I will pick between 8 and 10th each round in the draft order so I trade the picks for more DP? - New guy
ReplyDeleteI copied this from the rules. You may obtain up to 5 players before the draft. But, you are not required to have any either. See below.
ReplyDeleteExpansion Team Designated Players:
Expansion BSL teams get to pick up to 3 players in an expansion draft off of last years BSL rosters as their Designated Players.
Expansion club Re-Entry Player:
Expansion club owners may trade for 2 players from an opponents existing BSL roster under the same rules as the RETURNING CLUB RETRY PLAYERS. The only difference is you are allowed 2 Re-Entry players instead of 1 to make up for the lack of Retention player qualification.
Expansion Pre-draft trading:
New clubs may trade with existing BSL clubs to get players before the draft by giving up draft picks so they may pick up existing BSL roster players. They can use expansion draft slots and regular draft slots.
