MATCH PREVIEW #17: Critical weekend as teams seek the upper hand

The season could be on the line when Montgomery County and Union S.C. meet up this weekend. In a critical game for both teams, the winner could find themselves back in a good place in regards to playoff seeding, while the loser will be atleast 3 points out if not more. A tie could end up hurting both teams as wins are very necessary. These two teams have already tied each other two previous meetings.

Capital District can clinch a playoff spot with a win over Gaithersburg City, although the Gunners are probably eyeing a bigger prize than just making the playoffs.

Holding onto third place right now, D.C. Forever will look continue their momentum when they go up against Garden State. The Kickers currently hold the 4th spot in Majors Cup qualifying.

Gateway United needs a win to have any chance of catching Capital District for first place. The Saints can clinch a Majors Cup bid this weekend as well as become the second team in the league to acquire atleast 10 wins. Motor City has won 2 of their last 3 games.
