MATCH PREVIEW #18: More teams can clinch positions this week

ATTACHMENT
Coming up is an interesting battle between the leagues current 2nd and 3rd place teams. Gateway United can clinch a playoff spot with a win and extend its unbeaten streak. Meanwhile Montgomery County is coming off a much needed rebound victory. It could be in vain with plenty of teams itching to take over the Monarchs playoff position. This match also features the leagues #2 and #3 offenses.
Capital District could obtain the first piece of hardware for any team in BIGTIME with a win. The Honors Trophy represents having the best regular season record which alone should give any team operator some bragging rights as well as a free ticket to the championship game. Standing in the Gunners way is Garden State who has plenty to play for still as the Kickers control their own destiny in making the Majors Cup.
D.C. Forever will attempt to forget about its recent disastrous shut-out and look to continue its domination over Motor City. The Bandits can clinch a position in Majors Cup with a win and ofcourse are very much in the playoff race.
Union S.C. needs a win this weekend. The Blues are on a 4 game losing streak and have fallen out of contention in everything. Without a win this weekend, September could be a very empty month for the team. Gaitherburg City will look to finish the season on a high note as it attempts to avoid finishing in last place before the seasons end.
