There are plenty of good games on tap this week. However, the "Game of the Week" features the one club that has managed to take points from the Cure. This club is Gateway United. Besides this being a rivalry game for the Show-Me Cup, The Saints 2-2 tie in their first meeting is the only blemmish on the 2010 season for St.Louis. Word is that Gateway United is going to make moves before game time in preparation of this match. No word yet on what those moves are as of this post. All 16 MLS teams will be playing and playing only once, so the strategy of loading up heavy on an MLS roster that has multiple games will not be available. It should be mentioned that this strategy does not seem to work anyways. Another possibilty before this game begins is that Edson Buddle might be in inform. He has a World Cup tune-up game today, and his results might determine if he makes the USMNT 23-man roster. Otherwise, he might be back to the Cure.

ReplyDeleteHmm... get back to you on that. He is what I looking for in exchange for the two players I am offering. His injury worries me a little. He only played 20 so minutes in his last Houston game and something like 30 minutes in the US/CZ game.
