Pennsylvania & Rose City Advance Through Semi's

PLAYOFFS: SEMI-FINALS

ROSE CITY        7
GATEWAY UNITED   0
-
The Flyers showed no mercy to the 2012 Honors Trophy champions, putting up the clubs largest margin of victory ever. Marco DiVaio got the scoring started for Rose City, but it was Rosales 3 assists that made the biggest damage midway through the match. Then Nagbe added a goal and it was a 5-0 lead before many of the Saints players even had a turn. Once the Gateway United players finally did hit the pitch, they were laying up goose eggs and it became pretty clear there would be no comeback. Infact, the Saints failed to score at all. Josh Saunders further made for a crazy scoreline after he recorded a clean sheet with 5 saves to close out the week. Gateway United has now been bounced out in the Semi-Finals 3 times. Rose City advances to the clubs first BSL Cup Final.

PLAYOFFS: SEMI FINALS

PENNSYLVANIA    5
ALAMO CITY      1

Alamo City scored first in this match and then Pennsylvania scored 5 unanswered to prevent the Battle from becoming the first BSL club to win 3 playoff games. The news was not kind to Alamo City. Boskovic and Henry did not play because of coaching and personal issues. Bad timing for a playoff game. Meanwhile, Pennsylvania got 2 insurance scores on Sunday that put a 3-1 lead to 5-1 and closed out the match. The Stoners advance to the clubs first BSL Cup Final.

  4. Wow, that was pathetic. Sorry I couldn't even put up a fight. And how the blue hell do the Sounders score SIX, and EJ gets no part of it ?

THAT typifies my luck right there. Good job Stoners, obviously I'm rooting for you in the final.

    3. I was being silly. I know you were trying your best and I didn't expect anything less. Let's see if I can pull another miracle out of my hat.
