2015 Preview: SC Canada

The Toronto based side will look to build a winning reputation in year one. SC Canada was a bit conservative in the offseason making no early pick trades and opting to wait for the expansion draft. Besides it's 2 DP'S in Wright-Phillips and LeToux, the Mounties have signed a talented player in Juan Agudelo. Also signed in the late rounds was Eddie Johnson, who if returns to his old form could be a real asset to the club. Like their expansion counter-part, SC Canada signed quite a few defenders. Liam Ridgewell is one of those defenders who has performed well since arriving to Portland in mid-season last year.

  1. May have been wrong of me to give up BWP, big question is whether he can come close to last years production without TH14 feeding him. He has the poachers instinct though, so we will see.

  2. That's what has me shy of BWP for 2015, at least until the team figures out how to feed him. I did an analysis that showed he was fairly dependent on TH14 for assists.

  3. Even if the Red Bulls suck this year, I think BWP can get 15 goals just with the amount of chances he'll have.

  4. BWP scored when he was in England without much help but I understand the TH14 issue. I did my own season prediction of my players this season and posted them on my club page - http://www.sc-canada.blogspot.co.uk/2015/02/expected-points-for-2015-big-time.html
