| Spartans 5 | SC Canada 4 |

For the third time this season the Spartans got good production from CJ Sapong, who is becoming a real steal for how down the draft he was taken, but it was Burke's first goal of 2019 that was the game winner giving the Spartans a big win in their first qualifier even after playing a man down with Maxi Urruti receiving a red card. SC Canada equalized several times in the match including a goal from Danny Hoesen who came in off the bench. Diomande limped of the field and hopefully it was not a serious injury as he has played well for the Mounties.

  1. Just a curious question - On the MLS app Blessing was credited with 2 assists on the scoresheet. What determines what assists are credited on BSL scoring?

    Thanks, Spartans.

  4. I saw two on the MLS app. Perhaps there is a difference between the two. No biggie.
