The drought is finally over for the owner of Angel Town as the club has won the 2019 Majors Cup. This is the 1st Majors Cup championship for the Stars, and the 2nd title overall in the clubs history. This championship ends a 10 year wait between awards. It was quite a turn around for Angel Town between 2018 and 2019, as the club went from finishing in last place the previous season, to finishing in 3rd place this year and winning the West in MC Qualifiers. Despite, losing in the Semi-Finals in the playoffs, the Stars played very well, and then followed it up with a great Majors Cup tournament including scoring 12 points in the Semi-Finals.
