With MLS playoffs in full force, we are only weeks away from finding out the 4th and final MLS club to qualify for the 2020 Majors Cup tournament. So far the Montreal Impact, Atlanta United, and Los Angeles FC have all qualified. With LAFC and Atlanta both already in the tournament their presence in their leagues playoff semi-finals puts Seattle in the drivers seat to get into the MCT without actually winning a trophy. However, Toronto can clinch by advancing to the MLS Cup final and Seattle losing in their semi-final. The 4th MLS Majors Cup spot will be determined next week. If Toronto clinches, it would be the first time 2 Canadian clubs will be in the Majors Cup in the same year.
