Stoners Recommence for a 5th Season

The partnership of Mike and Javi are back. The owners of the Pennsylvania Stoners participated in the BSL from 2011-2014 before going on hiatus. During those 4 years, the club amassed a record of 33 wins 43 losses 10 ties. The Stoners best season was 2012 when the club participated in both the BSL Playoffs and the Majors Cup and advanced as the eventual runner-up in both championship finals. There is no prior ACQ money to transfer over to the Stoners, since that was not around in 2014. The club will receive standard expansion club starting money (see budgets).

Trades, Transfers, and Player Signings

The Month of February is here and that is when the offseason movement really heats up. Several BSL clubs have been wheeling and dealing leaving nothing to chance before the deadline of Wednesday, February 22nd at 10am PST. Once that deadline has passed no offseason maneuvers can be made. The 2017 Player Draft will begin the very next morning 2/23 at 7am PST with Spartans 1612 owning the #1 pick overall in the 1st round.

To date there have been 6 various trades, and 2 straight up DP slot purchases this offseason. A total of 14 Designated Players, 7 Retention Players, and 5 Re-Entry Players have been signed for 2017 so far.

New! - ReEntry Player Rule

With ACQ money an established asset in the BSL nowadays, the time has come to add another level to the league's offseason. Introducing, the "Re-Entry" player rule. Club owners will now have the opportunity to use their ACQ monies to purchase one player from an existing BSL roster during each offseason and protect this player as a "Re-Entry" player.

Unlike a Designated Player, a Re-Entry player must come from an outsiders BSL roster. 

-You may not trade your Re-Entry slot.

-The minimum purchase is $10

-There is no limit to how many players a single BSL club can sell.

-You are NOT REQUIRED to use your Re-Entry slot.

HINT: Keep in mind the level of players available will most likely be players not protected as Designated Players. This is a rule to help stimulate mid-level activity in the off seasons. (The BSL version of TAM)
