WEEK 12: Stoners Fight Back for First Place

PENNSYLVANIA 3 ROSE CITY 2 - The face-off for first place started off with a late line up submission from the Stoners. But, the partnership did get going first when Renteria scored a goal and assist midweek and followed it up with another score on Saturday to average 2 points. (Minus 1 point for the lineup failure) Marvin Chavez countered for Rose City and the score was tied 1-1 after Saturdays action. On Sunday, CJ Sapong and Kei Kamara scored together to make the game 2-2. It looked like the "LF" was going to cost the Stoners a victory, but Kamara came through with another score and that proved to be the game winner and moved Pennsylvania back into first place in the BSL Standings by having a better APG than the Flyers. The defeat ends Rose City's 4 game winning streak. BOXSCORE: Stoners- Renteria(2T -1LF), Kamara(G A), Espindola(Y). Flyers- Chavez(A), Sapong(G).

This week the club pulled away from a 2-2 score, when goal keeper Bill Hamid racked up enough saves for the game winner.
